Bond Refinancing to Save District Money
The Garrison Union Free School District has announced today it was able to refund two outstanding bonds from 2002 to save the district $342,201.50 over the next 10 years. This represents an overall savings of 7.21%. The two bonds totaling $4,170,000 were originally issued in 2002 to fund construction of the Middle School addition.
