Haldane Elementary school students in grades K–5 had the opportunity to view the assembly program Picasso People to help them learn about Pablo Picasso and his art for the Garrison Art Center School Invitational Theme Show “Graffiti a la Picasso.”

The show will run from March 25 through April 10 with a closing reception on April 10 from 3-5pm. Carlton Peter Van Pyrz, Picasso People Artistic Director, created an event that crosses the lines of the arts with core curriculum subjects such as history, language arts, and social studies.

Picasso People was made possible through a grant from the Haldane School Foundation with support from the Turino Family Trust.
