Please be advised that the next meeting of the Planning Board will be held at Town Hall, 265 Oscawana Lake Road on Monday July 25, 2011, for the purpose of considering the following applications:

1.      NYC DEP- 1919 Route 301
(TM# 19.-2-16/File: 2011-0084)
 The applicant, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP), is working on rehabilitating Shaft No. 8, which will require work within the boundaries of the NYCDEP’s property. The subject parcel consists       of ±0.92 acres of land and is located within the PC Zoning District. The Planning Board will continue its review of the project plans.
2.      NYC DEP- Phillips-1921 Route 301
(TM# 19.-2-17/File: 2011-0083)
Amendment to the originally approved Site Development Plan to pave the access road owned by Thomas Phillips. The Planning Board will continue its review of the project plans.

3.      Paley, Alan- 29-31 Hemlock Point Drive
(TM# 62.6-1-24, 25/File: 2007-015)
The applicant is proposing to merge Lots 24 and 25, demolish two existing dwellings, construct a new single-family residence and detached garage, and install a new septic system. The subject property consists of ±0.85 acres of land and is located on Hemlock Point Drive North and within the R-3 Zoning District. The Planning Board will continue its review of the project plans and will consider making a decision on the Sketch Plan.
4.      Gentile, Joseph- 199 Wood Street
         (74.11-2-4/File: 2011-0087)
The applicant is proposing a 2-Lot subdivision on +3.47 acres of land located on 199 Wood Street and within the R-1 Zoning District. The subject property contains a single-family residence and therefore the proposed action will result in the construction of one additional dwelling. The Planning Board will commence its review of the project plans and will consider making a decision on the Sketch Plan.
5.      Boy Scouts of America-1 Clear Lake Road
         (40.-1-12,13,14&21/File:2011-0086)
The applicant is proposing to construct a shooting and trap range, associated shooting buildings/stations, access driveway and stormwater facilities. The subject property is owned and operated by the Boy Scouts of America and is located on Clear Lake Road and within the PD Zoning District.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Board of Education of the Garrison Union School District, Town of Philipstown New York, in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, hereby invites the submission of sealed bids from reputable and qualified contractors for the provision of labor and materials for the following contract:
LABOR AND MATERIAL CONTRACT FOR:
HVAC SERVICES
Bids for HVAC Services will be received until 10:00 a.m. August 16, 2011 at the Garrison School located at 1100 Route 9D, Box 193, Garrison, New York 10524 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the Main Office Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Bids must be presented on the proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the Specifications. All bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes which are clearly marked on the outside: Bid For: "Garrison Union Free School District - HVAC Services Contract". Bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days following the date of the bid opening.
The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities in order to reject any or all bids, or to accept that bid which, in the Board of Education's judgment, is in the best interest of the School District.
The Board of Education reserves the right to consider experience, service and reputation in the above-referenced fields. In addition, the Board of Education reserves the right to consider the financial responsibility and specific qualifications, as set out herein, of the prospective bidder in its evaluation of the bids and award of the contracts.
