Another Blip on the Sales Tax Revenue Radar Screen
For the second time in the past three months, sales tax revenue generated in Putnam County has declined. The legislature’s Audit Committee heard from Commissioner of Finance William Carlin Monday evening. Carlin reported $3.68 million in sales tax revenue generated in July, a decrease of $44,000 from July of 2010.
