Cold Spring’s Hudson Highland Pipe Band at the Paramount

Influenced by great traditional musicians and rock and roll favorites, top precision dancers and vaudeville, the Tartan Terror will soon prove to you they aren't just another band!

Begun by Ian and Ellen Wilkes Irmisch, the Tartan Terrors bring together Two-Time World Champion Bagpipers, internationally acclaimed musicians and comedians, and high paced championship caliber highland dancers to create a show that has roused audiences of all ages into a fevered frenzy of excitement propelling the Terrors into forefront of Celtic Music.

Just added to open for the Tartan Terrors will be the Hudson Highland Pipe Band of Cold Spring under the direction of Stephen Gara.  Prompted by the desire of local resident, Mayor of Cold Spring, and uilleann pipe maker, Seth Gallagher, to field a band for the local Memorial Day parades, the Hudson Highland Pipe Band, formerly the Cold Spring Fire Co. Pipes & Drums, was born. The Hudson Highland Pipe Band plays throughout the year across the Hudson Valley and New York state.
