Notice is hereby given to interested parties that a Public Hearing will be held by the Putnam Valley Zoning Board of Appeals on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at at Town Hall, 265 Oscawana Lake Road for the purpose of considering the following petitions and requests together with all other matters that may properly come before the Board at this time.

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Cold Spring will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 7:35 p.m. at Village Hall, 85 Main Street, Cold Spring, NY to hear public comment on a proposed local law that seeks to amend the Village Code, Chapter 126 “Vehicle and Traffic,” by amending Section 126-32 Schedule V: “Stop Intersections,” designating the east bound lane and west bound lane of Northern Avenue at the intersection of Northern Avenue and Church Street as stop intersections.

The Village of Cold Spring Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 85 Main Street, Cold Spring, NY to hear public comment on a proposed local law that seeks to amend the Village of Cold Spring Code, Chapter 134 Zoning. The purpose of this local law is to clarify the meaning and terms of the Village Zoning Code by amending Section 134-2, “Definitions,” “Nonconforming Use,” and Section 134-17 (E) to conform with Section 134-19 (A). Copies of the proposed local law are available at the Clerk’s Office, 85 Main Street, Cold Spring, NY between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All interested parties are encouraged to attend and be heard.

Local Law #17 of 2011
LOCAL LAW #17- Amend Chapter 25/Section 25-22/Putnam County Code/Entitled “Membership; Terms; Vacancies
ABSTRACT PROVISION:
This Local Law amends Chapter 25, Section 25-22 of the Putnam County Code, by requiring that each of the 9 members of the Commission be a resident of the County of Putnam, by providing that the County Executive shall appoint members of the Putnam County Historic Advisory Preservation Commission, subject to confirmation by the Legislature, and by designating the term for each member as 3 years.
