Credit Union Makes Generous Donation

The Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) recently presented the Putnam Hospital Center Foundation with a donation of $500, made possible by the generous actions of the organization and its members in Putnam County. Just-for-Dads Parenting Class

Calming a crying infant is the number-one area of improvement reported for participants in the just-for-dads parenting workshops. The next free session will be held on Saturday, January 21st at Putnam Hospital Center, from 10am to 12:30pm. The two-and-a-half-hour class provides information and hands-on practice with basic infant care and is based on the proven Conscious Fathering™ curriculum that has served more than 8,000 dads since it began in 1999. The workshop is coordinated by the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Putnam County and the Health Department.
For further information or to register, please call the CAC at 845-808-1400, extension 44122. Registration is free, but space is limited. Early registration is recommended.
