Meet the Skink at the Wildlife Education Center

Photo by Pam GolbenPhoto by Pam Golben On Saturday, February 18 at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. learn all about the Skink at the Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson.  Visitors will meet the Museum's two resident skink species: the Five Lined Skink, a lizard native to the Hudson Highlands, and it’s much larger relative the Australian Blue Tongue Skink, hear about their habits and learn fascinating facts. 

The Wildlife Education Center is open year round, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with “Meet the Animals” at 1 p.m. (January –March only) and 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Exhibits at the Museum include The Hall of Animals, The World of Bees and The Brook Trout Exhibit. Museum admission is $3 and Museum members are free.
