ACCELERATED BRIDGE PROGRAM PHASE 1B DESIGN-BUILD PROJECTS 
Statement of Qualification is due Wednesday March 14, 2012 at 12:00PM (noon)
The New York State Department of Transportation, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.0 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation and Title 23 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200, Title VI Program and Related Statutes, as amended, issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all who respond to a written Department solicitation, request for proposal or invitation for bid that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability/handicap and income status in consideration for an award.
BIDDERS SHOULD BE ADVISED THAT AWARD OF THESE CONTRACTS MAY BE CONTINGENT UPON THE PASSAGE OF A BUDGET APPROPRIATION BILL BY THE LEGISLATURE AND GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK
PIN SABP.01, Contract D900006, Regions 1 and 7 (Albany, Clinton, Columbia, Essex, Franklin, Greene, Jefferson, Lewis, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, St. Lawrence, Warren and Washington Cos.). Bid Deposit, Completion Date and DBE Goal will be established in the future Request for Proposals.
PIN SABP.07, Contract D900007 Region 8 (Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester Cos.). Bid Deposit, Completion Date and DBE goal will be established in the future Request for Proposals.
PIN SABP.08, Contract D900008 Regions 3, 4 and 5 (Cattaraugus, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Cortland, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Onondaga, Ontario, Orleans, Oswego, Seneca, Tompkins, Wayne, and Wyoming Cos.). Bid Deposit, Completion Date and DBE Goal will be established in the future Request for Proposals.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Philipstown on March 12, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at Philipstown Town Hall, 238 Main Street, Cold Spring, New York, to hear the following Appeals:
LAUSCA, LLC: Appeal #877 for an Interpretation. Applicant is appealing the Notice of Violation dated 12/9/11 by Kevin Donohue. The Violation states that no barrier is shown on the March 24, 2010 Planning Board approved site plan and therefore it must be removed. The Appeal is predicated upon the note on the March 24, 2010 approved site plan which states “proposed speed bump 12’ opening in curb” as well as Paragraph I(2)(A) of Resolution PPB #8 dated September 17, 2009. (Location Philipstown Square, 3166 Route 9, Cold Spring) in a B-2 District.
