Helen F. Daly

Helen F. Daly, age 91, of Cold Spring, formerly of Airmont and the Bronx, passed away peacefully at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx on May 19, 2012.

Born in Ralphton, Pennsylvania on March 14, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Hyzek) Wozniak. Her husband of 63 years, Charles, predeceased her.

Mrs. Daly worked at Western Electric in New York City until becoming a homemaker. At Western Electric, she won an award for her adopted suggestion, a fixture for A1 transmitter units.

Survivors include her dear sister Julia Mash, daughters Mrs. Joan (Michael) Deneher of Cold Spring, and Dr. Patricia (William) Fodor of Colorado Springs, Colo. In addition to numerous nieces and nephews, three grandchildren, Carolyn (Alex) Juarez, Matthew (Angie) Fodor, and Michael Fodor, and two great grandchildren also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 24 Fair Street, Cold Spring, N.Y. 10516 at 10 a.m. on May 24, 2012. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Clinton Funeral Home, corner of Parrott and Pine Streets, 21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring, on May 23, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Hospital, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, New York 10461.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Clinton Funeral Home.
