Natale J. Giuffra
Born in New York, NY, on December 25, 1920, he was the son of the late Antonio and Teresa (Musante) Giuffra. He was the widower of the late Doris A. (Ambrosino) Giuffra, who predeceased him in 1995.
Mr. Giuffra, an area resident since 1980, coming from the Bronx, was a retired Project Manager with the Armour Meat Company. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church and a WW II veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Asiatic- Pacific theater of operations as an aerial gunner.
Survivors include his sister, Mary N. Giuffra of Cold Spring; one nephew, Robert Giuffra of Washingtonville; and one niece, Judy McCormack of New York City. Predeceasing him in addition to his wife and parents were two brothers, Stephen and Angelo, and a sister, Aureilia Giuffra.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Our Lady of Loretto Church 24 Fair Street Cold Spring. Burial in Calvary Cemetery Queens, NY will follow.
The family received their friends at the Clinton Funeral Home Corner of Parrott and Pine Streets (21 Parrott Street) Cold Spring, on Tuesday.
