NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 7:00 PM for the purpose of hearing public comment on the application of Phil Mackintosh, 5 Railroad Ave. to allow a 1 story addition to the rear of his residence.  The proposal will require a side variances from Section 134-7(C)(5) and a lot coverage variance from Section 134-7(D)(2) of the Village Code. The applicant proposes treatment of an isolated 9.3-acre pond (NYS Water Index # H-77-P206, class B) with the aquatic pesticide Avast (active ingredient fluridone, 41.7%) for the control of duckweed. Portions of the pond are in the adjacent area of NYS Freshwater Wetland WP-8, Class 2; no direct application to the wetland is proposed.
