Jennifer Perunko, David’s daughter, told the PCN&R that the family lived in Garrison on the Old Albany Post Road for 33 years, with her father working for the phone company in Peekskill for 38 years, and her mother teaching nursery school at St. Philip’s Church in the Highlands for 25 years. They regularly attended mass at Graymoor.

Mr. Perunko taught people to fly at a local private airport, and Jennifer’s grandmother, Monica, lived in Cold Spring for about 20 years. “Our family was part of that community for a long, long time, and we’d like to let the community members remaining there know that my father passed on,” she said.
