LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF PHILIPSTOWN TAX COLLECTION LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT I, Tina M. Merando, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Philipstown, County of Putnam and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Philipstown for the year 2013 and that I will receive the same at the Philipstown Town Hall, 238 Main Street, Cold Spring, New York from January 1, 2013 through July 31, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. In January ONLY the Tax Collector will be at the Town Hall, Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Taxes will be collected without penalty if paid on or before January 31, 2013. On all taxes paid after January

31, 2013 an additional 1% penalty will be assessed for each month or fraction thereof thereafter until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer pursuant to law. Partial tax payment (50% of total tax) will ONLY be accepted during the month of January 2013. The second partial payment will be assessed a 1% penalty charge each month until July 31, 2013 when all unpaid second partial payments will be turned over to the County Treasurer. Full payment of taxes will be accepted without penalty during the month of January 2013. After the month of January, a 1% interest penalty will be assessed each month until May 1, 2013 when all “fully unpaid” taxes will be turned over to the County Treasurer for collection. LEGAL NOTICE Public Hearing Notice January 29, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. The Village of Cold Spring Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 34 Kemble Avenue, Cold Spring, NY 10516. The Board will hear comment on a proposed local law to amend the Village Zoning Code, Sections 134-3 Listing of Districts and 134-15 Regulations for B-4 Designated Medical and Health Care Facility District. The purpose of this local law is to enact conditional zoning adding a new sub-district to the B-4, Designated Medical Health Care Facility District. The existing B-4 will remain and the new sub-district will be named B-4A, Medical and Health Care Facility Mixed Use District and will permit Senior Citizen Housing, Municipal and Other Government Uses, Retail Stores, Business and Professional Offices, Banks and Mixed uses consisting of two or more permitted uses. Additionally, the zoning designation of certain real property presently zoned B-4 will be conditionally changed to R-1, One Family Residence District. LEGAL NOTICE Philipstown Planning Board Public Hearing – January 17, 2013 The Philipstown Planning Board for the Town of Philipstown, New York will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall on Kemble Avenue in Cold Spring, New York to consider the following application: Lyons Realty Company - Application dated November 1, 2012 for a proposed twolot subdivision of 136.909+/- acre parcel to accommodate proposed single family residence on proposed lot number. Property is located along NYS Route 9 and extends easterly to East Mountain Road South in the Town of Philipstown. The undeveloped tract is situated in both “M” (Industrial/Manufacturing) and “RR” (Residential) zoning districts. A portion of the property along Route 9 lies within the soil mining overlay district.
