Eugene E. Ostrow, Jr.

Eugene E. Ostrow, Jr., age 68, of Cold Spring, NY, died on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Hudson Valley Hospital center in Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Born in Port Jefferson, NY on November 24, 1944, he was the son of the late Eugene E. and Mary C. (Chachuna) Ostrow, Sr. Husband of Sandra L. (Becker) Ostrow they where married June 10, 1972.

Mr. Ostrow an employee for Brooklyn Union Gas Company in Staten Island, NY, worked in the supply and tool distribution department. He served in the US Army National Guard and Army Reserve for sixteen years, earning the rank of staff Sergeant from 1960 to 1975. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Union Local # 3 Brooklyn, NY and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church.

Survivors in addition to his wife of Cold Spring, NY, include two sons Eugene E. (Jennifer) Ostrow, III of Cold Spring, NY and Thomas H. Ostrow of Brooklyn, NY. One grandson Jacob also survives

A mass of Christian burial was offered at 10AM, Friday, January 4, 2013, at Our Lady of Loretto Church 24 Fair Street Cold Spring, NY.

Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY. The family received their friends at the Clinton Funeral Home Corner of Parrott and Pine Streets (21 Parrott Street) Cold Spring, NY on Thursday, January 3rd from 5 to 8 PM.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Clinton Funeral Home Cold Spring, NY.
