Salvatore Emil Scarola Salvatore Emil Scarola Salvatore Emil Scarola, age 73, of Clermont, Florida, formerly of Cold Spring, NY, died peacefully Tuesday January 2, 2013, at his home, surrounded by his family. Born October 27th, 1939, in Brooklyn, and a graduate of St. John’s University, he was the son of the late Emil and Genevieve Scarola.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Elizabeth Scarola; four children, Robert Scarola, Barbara Scarola, Susan Scarola-Misuraca and Elizabeth Scarola-Ricci; Four grandchildren, Isabella, Olivia, Eva and Michael Ricci, his brother and wife, Joseph and Carmella Scarola; and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives also survive. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Visitation for Salvatore Emil Scarola will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, January 10th, at Auchmoody Funeral Parlor 1028 Main St Fishkill, with a funeral mass at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 11th, at St. Mary’s Church, 100 Jackson Street in Fishkill, followed by burial at Cold Spring Cemetery, Cold Spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Foundation for Fighting Blindness- Retinitis Pigmentosa at www.blindness.org.
