Rose K. Olshakoski

Visitation and Memorial Service Wednesday

Rose K. Olshakoski, age 86, a long time resident of Cold Spring, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor.  Born on November 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Rose (Raga) Tocci. She was the widow of the late Michael Olshakoski, who predeceased her in 2000.

Mrs. Olshakoski a homemaker, thirty year area resident coming from Yonkers, and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church in Cold Spring.

Survivors include, one son Michael I. (Rosemarie) Olshakoski of  Nelsonville. One of twenty children, she is survived by six brothers Andrew, Isadore, Benjamin, Edward, Albert and Richard Tocci; and one sister, Elizabeth Pollock.

One granddaughter Lisa Marie (Scott) Ludwig and two great grandchildren Michael and Mary Rose also survive.

A private cremation has taken place at Ferncliff Crematory in Hartsdale, NY. A memorial service will be held 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at the Clinton Funeral home Corner of Parrott & Pine Streets Cold Spring, NY 10516. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home prior to the service from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Interment of cremains in Cold Spring Cemetery will take place in Spring of 2013.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Clinton Funeral Home of Cold Spring.
