Agnes Judith Impellittiere

Agnes Judith Impellittiere, age 58, of Cold Spring, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Ray and Agnes Impellittiere, also of Cold Spring.

Agnes was a graduate of Our Lady of Loretto Elementary School, Our Lady of Lourdes High School and Mercy College. She spent her entire career in the publishing field beginning in the public relations department at Pergamon Press in Elmsford. She finished her 23-year career at Medical

Economics in Montvale, New Jersey, where she was the Circulation Manager for their scientific journals, including RN Magazine.

Agnes loved to travel and did so in business as well as personally. Her favorite adventure was to Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii. She was a fun-loving person with an extremely quick wit. Her loving spirit touched many and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Survivors include a brother, R. Thomas Impellittiere (Stephanie); two sisters, Barbara Impellittiere and Elizabeth Monroe (Thomas); nephews Matthew Monroe and Michael Impellittiere; and nieces Lauren Monroe and Irina Impellittiere; as well as her devoted lifelong friend of 53 years, Mrs. Jennifer Witcher Ranucci.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Clinton Funeral Home of Cold Spring.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in her memory.
