Richard Middleton Turner

Richard Middleton Turner, age 65, of Cold Spring, died on Monday, March 18, 2013, at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor, NY. He was born December 10, 1947, in Brooklyn, son of the late Richard C. and Charlotte (Middleton) Turner.

Mr. Turner was the night manager for The River Club in New York City, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church in Cold Spring, and a third degree member of Loretto Council # 536 of the Knights of Columbus. He served on the Village of Cold Spring Zoning Board of Appeals, and served in the Army National Guard, earning the rank of Sergeant.

He is survived by his wife Patricia A. (Conaty) Turner of the home address and one daughter, Lorraine Turner of Cold Spring.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 21, at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 24 Fair St., Cold Spring. Interment will follow in the Cold Spring Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clinton Funeral Home, Corner of Parrott and Pine Sts. (21 Parrott St.) Cold Spring, NY 10516, on Wednesday, March 20, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Donations may be made in Mr. Turner’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Clinton Funeral Home, Cold Spring.
