The Randolph philosophy is based on the premise that children who love to learn become life long learners.

Randolph School was founded in 1963 by a group of parents and teachers who felt a need for an environment in which children were stimulated to learn in a way that integrates all aspects of a whole, well-adjusted human being - thus equally encompassing intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual growth.

A Randolph education is structured to embrace the delicate balance between academic excellence and successful social development.

Our program is specifically designed to encourage each child's individual talents within the context of a strong and nurturing social environment.

Every day at Randolph is a celebration of your child's individuality.

Because of the intimate student to teacher ratio, 8:1 (10:1 in the Middle School), it is unnecessary to encourage conformity for the sake of classroom productivity. Rather, because of this ratio, Randolph teachers are able to work with the students according to their individual learning styles, challenging each child at his or her own level, and to respond to each student's unique needs and interests.

As a result, our students experience Randolph as a home away from home: a warm, nurturing environment in which they feel safe to explore who they are and who they are striving to become.
